The Be Kind Rewind Protocol as imagined by film director Michel Gondry, allows people to enjoy the process of film making with friends without the expectations of Hollywood or Independent Film-making.
Create it quickly with the least technology and show it to your friends.
It’s not a gateway to Hollywood nor for “Likes” on social media, It’s just for the fun of creating and finishing something together. The process is as fun as the finished work.
Members of the Fallout dream up stories, write, shoot, act, edit and more in the film making process. We hold Be Kind “competitions” for teams to remake their own short and offbeat versions of Films, TV Shows, Video Games, Music Videos and more as well as Original stories.
Plans are brewing to create a platform where the Be Kind Protocol will be played out exactly as Gondry envisioned it.
We also partner with Capitol Theater for the 48Create Film Project (formerly Fischgaard) where teams make a film in a weekend.
